Kickstand is a new way for motorcycle owners in Sweden to rent their bikes to riders they can trust. We are in beta right now, and you need an invite to get in.
Three steps, and one of them is riding.
Find a bike that fits you
Owners list their motorcycles in the app. You see the bikes your licence lets you ride, so there are no surprises later.
Book it in the app
Pick your dates and book. You and the owner agree on a time and a place to meet.
Meet, take photos, ride
At pickup you go through the bike together and take five photos in the app. You do the same when you bring it back, so everyone knows what shape the bike was in.
Ride something different
Try the bike you have been curious about, or rent one for a trip when your own is far away. You rent from a real person who cares about the bike, not from a counter.
Let your bike earn its keep
Most motorcycles stand still most of the time. Rent yours out on the days you are not riding, to riders who hold the right licence and who were invited by someone already in Kickstand.
We are still building this. Here is what that means.
Kickstand is in beta. The app works, but it is not finished, and we would rather be honest about that than pretend. If you join now, you are helping us shape it.
It is a small group
Right now Kickstand is open to a limited number of riders and owners in Sweden.
Things will change
Screens move, features come and go, and you will run into bugs. Tell us when you do.
Not everything is switched on
Real payments and rental protection are still being set up. We will tell you clearly before any real money is involved.

You get in through someone who is already in.
Kickstand grows one rider at a time. Every member was invited by another member. That way there is always someone who can say: I know this person, and I would hand them my keys.
